So recently I got into working with microcontrollers and I thought I would setup a part of the site to share some of my experiments and such. I may not have too much yet, but all in due time I should be able to add plenty.
So until recently this was my workspace for building and testing all the crazy things I have been putting together. I took this picture the day I bought the oscilloscope so I cleaned the area up a little bit (if you can believe that).
BauerNet1) is a home status and security project I am working on with several Freeduino's and miscellaneous sensors. It consists of several nodes that are connected through an I2C interface, although, that is slated to be replaced with a 2.4 GHz wireless interface soon.
This project is really still in the planning phase, although I am in need of organizing some things, so I thought I would just go ahead and get the project page setup now so I can keep all my notes and tables somewhere.
Don's Doomsday Clock is a work in progress, but it's coming along nicely. I am using a Freeduino with an RGB LCD shield by NKC Electronics to display a clock. May sound stupid, but I had a fun time creating it.
I am still adding plenty to it because the project overall is not where I want it to be… It's still not much of a ”doomsday” clock, and it's also not as geeky as I would like.
Coming soon…
